Dyersburg Awarded Multi-Year Levitt AMP Music Grant
DYERSBURG, TN — The rhythm of the river is about to get a whole lot louder. The Dyersburg Dyer Co/Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that our community has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Levitt AMP Grant.
This multi-year matching grant, awarded by the Levitt Foundation in partnership with the Tennessee Entertainment Commission, ensures that the heart of Dyersburg will be filled with the sound of free, live music through 2028.
Bringing the "AMP" to Music at the Market
Starting in 2026, the Levitt AMP Dyersburg Music Series will transform The Farmers Market at the Forked Deer River Park into a premier destination for high-quality outdoor concerts. This initiative isn't just about entertainment; it’s about "AMP-ing" up our community through three core goals:
-
Amplify our unique local character and community pride.
-
Enrich lives through the power of free, world-class music.
-
Illustrate the importance of inclusive, vibrant public spaces.
"Levitt concert series are community destinations, brought to life when friends, families, and neighbors of all ages and backgrounds come together for a shared experience," says Sharon Yazowski, President & CEO of the Levitt Foundation.
Thank you to our Sponsors

The Charitable Giving Committee of Tyson Foods, Inc. awarded a $50,000 grant to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce Foundation to assist with the comprehensive renovation of the Main Street Farmers Market.
In 2022, Main Street Dyersburg held its first Fall Festival. The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce rented an inflatable movie screen, projector, and sound system for approximately $1,500 and showed Hocus Pocus.
Several dozen people brought lawn chairs and gathered inside the building to enjoy a family outing. Based upon the success of this trial event, we would like to expand the offerings to a more frequent and predictable schedule of Movies at the MARKET.
With the improvements to the stage, movies could be shown on the grassy lawn and moved indoors in the event of inclement weather. However, we cannot afford to host many showings when renting the equipment. Recognition could be given to the sponsoring entity at the beginning of each movie, such as “Movies at the MARKET. Made possible through a generous grant from Dyersburg Noon Rotary Club.”
Main Street Dyersburg, TN– has been designated an Accredited Main Street America™ program for meeting rigorous performance standards.
We won! Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce is excited to receive a Hometown Grant from TMobile for $31,500 for upgrades to the Main Street Dyersburg Farmers Market building.
